Baseball Recap: Kodiak Takes a Loss

Kodiak had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Colony Knights by a score of 9-8 on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost five in a row.

Robert Anderson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Devin Sharratt, who scored a run while going 4-for-4.

Coincidentally, Kodiak and Colony will both be playing South Anchorage the next time they take the field. The Knights will host the Wolverines at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
