Basketball Recap: Santiago Takes a Loss

After flying high against Alhambra last Saturday, Santiago came back down to earth. The Santiago Cavaliers fell just short of the Mark Keppel Aztecs by a score of 55-53 on Monday.

Santiago's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Mark Keppel, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-5.

Santiago will challenge Polytechnic at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mark Keppel, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Montebello at 5:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025. One thing working in Mark Keppel's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
