Volleyball Recap: Cayuga Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Cayuga kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 3-1 to the Athens Hornets. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 12-25, 25-18, 25-13.

Cayuga didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Mildred on the 14th. As for Athens, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Callisburg on the 14th.
