Basketball Game Preview: Lake Mills Bulldogs vs. Eagle Grove Eagles

Lake Mills has gone 10-0 against Eagle Grove recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lake Mills Bulldogs will welcome the Eagle Grove Eagles at 7:45 p.m. Lake Mills will be strutting in after a win while Eagle Grove will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Saturday, Lake Mills beat Northwood-Kensett 61-50.

Meanwhile, Eagle Grove lost 57-36 to Bishop Garrigan on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 199th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 33rd).

Eagle Grove has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Lake Mills, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Lake Mills skirted past Eagle Grove 59-57 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will Lake Mills repeat their success, or does Eagle Grove have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
