Volleyball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus lost against Midtown back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Devils took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keira Parsons paced Columbus' offense, picking up eight kills. Parsons got some help from Emma Cicora and her 12 assists.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Midtown, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Coming up, Columbus will face off against Brookstone at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midtown, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against The King's Academy on the 23rd.
