Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Appleton West). They had just enough and edged out the Kimberly Papermakers 3-2. For Appleton West, this counts as revenge for the 9-1 victory Kimberly walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Appleton West's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7-1. As for Kimberly, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1-2 and their overall record down to 2-3-3.
