Preview: Lockland Panthers vs. Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS
The Lockland Panthers's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th.
Last Friday, Lockland came up short against Miami Valley Christian Academy and fell 56-48. Lockland has not had much luck with Miami Valley Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Madeira entered their tilt with Deer Park with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Madeira had just enough and edged Deer Park out 59-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Madeira's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Will Manning, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Hopewell, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Lockland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Madeira, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-14.
