Softball Recap: Central Lee Takes a Loss

Central Lee managed to slip by Williamsburg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hawks came up short against the Raiders on Saturday, falling 8-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Hawks were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Central Lee and nudges their season record down to 11-13. As for Williamsburg, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 27-3.

Looking ahead, Central Lee will take on Keokuk at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Williamsburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Bettendorf on the 27th.
