Baseball Recap: Kenedy Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Kenedy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Woodsboro Eagles with a sharp 18-3 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

Kenedy got a massive performance out of Karsen Reyes, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave Reyes a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dehlay Salas, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4.

Reyes wasn't the only one making solid contact: Kenedy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive games.

Kenedy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.4 runs. As for Woodsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
