Palmerton lost to Stroudsburg back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Blue Bombers came out on top against the Mountaineers by a score of 7-4. The win was familiar territory for the Blue Bombers, who have now won seven matches in a row.

Palmerton saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Matkso, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Palmerton pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Stroudsburg, they moved to 13-6 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
