It's playoff time, and Tompkins had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the George Ranch Longhorns on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their 17th in a row.
Elsa St. Rose paced Tompkins' offense, picking up 15 kills. St. Rose got some help from Drew Merrell and her 18 assists. Olivia Beatty and Ava Shepard kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
Despite the loss, George Ranch still got an impressive performance from Mckenzie Reed, who had 13 digs and eight assists.
Tompkins' win bumped their record up to 36-5. As for George Ranch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-16.
As of now, neither Tompkins nor the Longhorns have any future games scheduled.
