Volleyball Recap: St. John's Prep Wins Going Away Against Monsignor Mcclancy

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. John's Prep had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Monsignor McClancy Crusaders with a sharp 3-0 win. The Red Storm haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

St. John's Prep was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

Eric Stankiewicz paced St. John's Prep's offense, picking up 15 kills. Stankiewicz got some help from Aleksi Pilinci and his 23 assists. Stankiewicz was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

St. John's Prep's win bumped their record up to 8-9-2. As for Monsignor McClancy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

As of now, neither St. John's Prep nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
