Basketball Recap: Sioux Center Skates Past Central Lyon with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sioux Center). They blew past the Central Lyon Lions 73-32 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Warriors have posted since February 5th.

Sioux Center now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Central Lyon, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sioux Center will take on West Lyon in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Lyon will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Sioux Center surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central Lyon, they will be home for the holidays to greet Sibley-Ocheyedan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Lyon is facing Sibley-Ocheyedan at the right time seeing as Sibley-Ocheyedan is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
