The Trinity Christian Warriors managed to keep up with the Kirby Prep Griffins until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Trinity Christian ended up on the wrong side of a tough 53-30 walloping at the hands of Kirby Prep. Trinity Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rain Li continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kirby Prep, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Li has scored at least 25% of Kirby Prep's points. Chris Lively was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Kirby Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season.
