University extended their postseason success on Saturday against Peak to Peak. They secured a 67-62 W over the Peak to Peak Pumas. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 74-72 loss the last time these two teams met.

University's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Elbe, who shot 50% from the field en route to 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Marcus Prestwich was another key player, going 5-for-8 to rack up 19 points.

Peak to Peak lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Elijah Eschmeyer, who posted 21 points in addition to seven blocks and six boards. He is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted three or more in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tysen Burton, who shot 56% from the field on his way to 17 points and four steals.

The win made it two in a row for University and bumps their season record up to 18-7. As for Peak to Peak, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 22-3 record.

Coming up, University will square off against Colorado Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. University has given up an average of 51.1 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. Peak to Peak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
