Softball Game Preview: Crestview Bulldogs vs. Milton Panthers

Crestview is 2-8 against Milton since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bulldogs will host the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Crestview has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Crestview is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since March 6th on Monday. They came up short against Navarre, falling 15-5.

Ava Secor made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Riley Copeland was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Milton didn't have quite enough to beat Niceville on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Milton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Vanderburg, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Crestview's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Milton, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
