Basketball Recap: Ada-Borup/Norman County West Comes Up Short

Ada-Borup/Norman County West lost against Barnesville back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ada-Borup/Norman County West Cougars came up short against the Barnesville Trojans, falling 61-40. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Trojans are ranked 45th).

This is the second loss in a row for Ada-Borup/Norman County West and nudges their season record down to 11-8. As for Barnesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Ada-Borup/Norman County West will look to defend their home court on Friday against Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley at 4:30 p.m. As for Barnesville, they will face off against Wheaton/Herman-Norcross at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
