Baseball Game Preview: Keenan Raiders vs. Columbia Capitals

The Keenan Raiders will face off against the Columbia Capitals at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Columbia took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Keenan, who comes in off a win.

Keenan is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against C.A. Johnson, sneaking past 9-7. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Westwood, falling 20-8.

Alex Cannon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Adrian Howard was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-1.

Keenan took their victory against Columbia in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0. Will Keenan repeat their success, or does Columbia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
