Soccer Recap: Gate City Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Gate City had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association Stallions.

Coming up, Gate City will head out to challenge Asheboro Hybrid Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ambassador Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
