It was a good run, but Fillmore unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 9-4 to the Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-9 back in April.

Morghyn Ross was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Tenlee Miller was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Fillmore's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Bolivar-Richburg, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Fillmore will face off against Andover at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bolivar-Richburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-2 victory against Hornell on the 9th.
