Serra proved they can win big last Friday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the La Salle Lancers, sneaking past 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Cavaliers: when they faced off against the Lancers back in March, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

AMARI HACKETT was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ HUGHES, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Serra was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Serra's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for La Salle, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Serra has already played their next game, an 8-2 victory against Maywood CES on the 5th. As for La Salle, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-5 win against San Marino on the 5th.
