DeShawn Edwards continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lake Ridge, rushing for 165 yards and two TDs while picking up 10.3 yards per carry, and also throwing for 243 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Edwards has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last five times he's played. Lake Ridge's leading receiver Jayden Evans was Edwards' top target yet again, picking up 145 receiving yards and two scores.
Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Lake Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
