Basketball Recap: Nina Wilson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lynnwood over Edmonds-Woodway

If Lynnwood was riding high fresh off their 54-32 takedown of Marysville Getchell last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lynnwood Royals took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

Lynnwood lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nina Wilson, who posted 15 points. Her evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Lexi Tamayo was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Lynnwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Edmonds-Woodway, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
