There's no place like home for South Wake, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Durham Flight HomeSchool Flight 55-13 on Friday. The Sabres have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Leading South Wake to victory were Ausley Claire Curry and Rebekah Patel. Curry went 7 for 11 en route to 15 points in addition to seven boards and five steals, while Patel went 5 of 10 on her way to 13 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Those five steals gave Curry a new career-high. Ellie Grumbach was another key player, putting up eight points and eight rebounds.

South Wake's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points over those games. As for Durham Flight HomeSchool, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, South Wake will host New Life Camp at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th. As for Durham Flight HomeSchool, they will take on Discovery Charter School at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
