Softball Recap: Fresno Comes Up Short

Fresno's last matchup with Sunnyside could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Wednesday. The Warriors came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Fresno saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexie Navarro, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Fresno's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Sunnyside, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, Fresno will take on Hoover at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sunnyside, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Sunnyside Wildcats face off against Corcoran Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
