California is a hotbed for high school football, producing elite talent moving on to the college and professional level on an annual basis.

We selected 20 of the best players to take the field in the Golden State, a group that has combined for 18 Super Bowls victories, 141 Pro Bowl selections and six MVP awards.

Eight of the 20 selected have already been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and expect some current NFL players to add to that list once they retire.
