Basketball Recap: Coronado Comes Up Short

Coronado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 54-21 defeat at the hands of the Pine Hill Warriors.

Pine Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nevaeh Natan out in front who went 8 of 14 on her way to 17 points along with six boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Skye Henry, who went 6 for 10 en route to 20 points and four steals.

Coronado's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Pine Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Tse' Yi' Gai the next time they take the court. Coronado will host Tse' Yi' Gai at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Pine Hill will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
