Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Rains walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 76-40 victory over the Madison Trojans. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 22 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

The win (which was Rains' 11th in a row) raised their record to 32-4. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.6 points over those games. As for Madison, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-13.

Coming up, Rains will square off against Mineola at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
