Baseball Recap: Meridian Hawks vs. Clinton Maroons
If Meridian was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Central A & M last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks lost 12-2 to the Clinton Maroons on Monday. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Maroons recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Dan Enlow was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Martin, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Clinton, their record is now 9-10.
