Basketball Recap: Hartford Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Hartford, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past the Waverly Bulldogs with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 49-30. For the Jaguars, this counts as revenge for the 40-36 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Hartford's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.6 points. As for Waverly, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Hartford will challenge Lebo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lebo will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hartford surely won't give up without a fight. As for Waverly, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Franklin on February 4th.
