Tehachapi is 7-2 against North since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will look to defend their home field against the Stars at 4:45 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tehachapi has three straight victories, North has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Last Thursday, Tehachapi made easy work of East Bakersfield and carried off a 13-3 win.

Aidan McIrvin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Emily Perkins was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Averianna Porter, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Tehachapi hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Meanwhile, North came up short against Orange Cove on Monday and fell 7-3.

Tehachapi now has a winning record of 9-8. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.

Everything went Tehachapi's way against North in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Tehachapi made off with an 11-1 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Stars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
