Softball Recap: Garrison Victorious

Garrison was handed a 12-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Winona Wildcats 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since March 5, 2025.

Garrison's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Winona, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Garrison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-5 loss against Carlisle on the 27th. As for Winona, they will be playing at home against Grand Saline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
