Baseball Recap: South Putnam Takes a Loss

South Putnam's last matchup with Sullivan could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 13-2 to the Golden Arrows. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Golden Arrows when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Putnam dropped their record down to 4-5 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Sullivan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.

South Putnam didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 loss against Edgewood on the 30th. As for Sullivan, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-2 win against Brown County on the 30th.
