Soccer Recap: Baptist Hill Comes Up Short

Baptist Hill came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-2 to the North Charleston Cougars. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Bobcats were already down 5-1.

Baptist Hill has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 1-5-1 record this season. The win got North Charleston back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baptist Hill will take on St. John's at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Baptist Hill has given up an average of 4.4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for North Charleston, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Battery Creek at 7:30 p.m. This will be North Charleston's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
