Recap: Central Christian Academy vs. Dighton Hornets
Central Christian Academy lost against the Dighton Hornets back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Central Christian Academy was dealt a 70-17 loss at the hands of Dighton. Central Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-11.
Dighton can attribute much of their success to Daniel Cramer, who scored 20 points along with 9 assists. That makes it two consecutive games in which Cramer has scored at least 25% of Dighton's points. Carson Shimer was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Central Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Dighton, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Central Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Dighton is on the road again on Friday and play against Rawlins County at 3:00 p.m. on December 8th.
