Soccer Recap: Lee's Summit Takes a Loss

Lee's Summit lost against Rockhurst back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Hawklets. While losing is never fun, Lee's Summit can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 84th, while Rockhurst are ranked first).

Lee's Summit moved to 3-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Rockhurst, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-0-1.

Looking ahead, Lee's Summit will challenge Liberty North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockhurst, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Park Hill South on the 27th.
