Soccer Game Preview: Casa Grande vs. Sonoma Valley

The Casa Grande Gauchos are taking a road trip to square off against the Sonoma Valley Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Casa Grande is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Kelseyville on Monday as Casa Grande made off with a 5-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gauchos.

They hit Kelseyville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Isaiah Escobar (2), Christian Analco Ventura, Kevin Brown, and Carlos Hernandez.

Meanwhile, Sonoma Valley kept a clean sheet against Justin-Siena on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 3-0 win.

Sonoma Valley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7-5. As for Casa Grande, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3-2 record this season.
