Minden has gone a perfect 3-0 against Southwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Crimson Tide will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Minden's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Northwood on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Falcons and fell 42-0. The Crimson Tide haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Southwood was beaten by Booker T. Washington-Shreveport 62-14 on Friday.

Although Southwood took the loss, they still got scores from Javious Washington and Christian Green.

Even if they lost, Southwood's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Kyron Davenport was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

Southwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Minden, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
