Baseball Game Preview: Ray Texans vs. Rio Grande City Rattlers

For the second straight game, Ray will face off against Rio Grande City. The Texans will take on the Rattlers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ray is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over Rio Grande City. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Texans.

For Rio Grande City's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Marroquin, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The loss snapped Rio Grande City's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-11 record. As for Ray, their victory bumped their record up to 19-11.
