In the ongoing battle for first place, Wyoming East beat Bluefield this week, 8-4 on Thursday.
Wyoming East is now in first place at 20-3 in Coalfield AA and 29-6 overall.
Shady Spring made the biggest jump in the
national rankings, moving from 10542 to 9228 thanks to a 6-2 record over the past week. The Tigers are currently No. 57 in the state of West Virginia, with an overall record of 20-15.
