Alexis Hughes Game Report: vs Apollo

On Friday, Shadow Ridge got the W thanks in part to Alexis Hughes playing the best softball she has all season. Hughes wasn't messing around, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. The pitching appearance was her 11th straight with one or fewer earned runs.

Hughes' strong effort led Shadow Ridge over Apollo and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hawks are limping into the matchup having lost 17 straight at home dating back to last season.
