Volleyball Game Preview: International Gryphons vs. Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars

The International Gryphons will square off against the Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Last Thursday, International got the win against Providence Cristo Rey by a conclusive 3-0.

International not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Providence Cristo Rey between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Greenwood Christian Academy waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Trailblazers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Cougars not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 14th (when they won 3-0).

Greenwood Christian Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept University between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-16.

International's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
