Soccer Recap: Union vs. Seventy-First
Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Seventy-First Falcons. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Spartans couldn't quite close it out.
Union's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Seventy-First, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Lakewood at 6:00 p.m. As for Seventy-First, they will square off against Lumberton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lumberton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Seventy-First surely won't give up without a fight.
