Basketball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oxbridge Academy lost against Tradition Prep back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The ThunderWolves had to suffer through a 72-37 loss at the hands of the Pirates. The ThunderWolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-12.

Oxbridge Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Bell, who shot 83% from the field on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Caldwell, who posted ten points.

Tradition Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aydan Fields out in front who went 7-for-10 en route to 17 points and seven rebounds. Jaydan Harris was another key player, shooting 63% from the field to rack up 16 points and seven boards.

Oxbridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tradition Prep, the win was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Oxbridge Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Somerset Academy - Canyons at 7:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Tradition Prep, they will head out to take on Port St. Lucie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
