Recap: Plainedge Red Devils vs. South Side Cyclones
The Plainedge Red Devils and the South Side Cyclones squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Plainedge Red Devils had to settle for second. Plainedge was dealt a 35-0 loss at the hands of South Side. It was the first time this season that Plainedge let down their fans at home.
Dylan Fella threw for 63 yards on eight of 16 attempts. James Kass was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards.
Plainedge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for South Side, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Plainedge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Side will face off against Floral Park Memorial at TBD on Friday. Floral Park Memorial is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
