Volleyball Recap: KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate Takes a Loss

KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northeast Metro RVT Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate wouldn't go down easily and took Northeast Metro RVT into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-22, 18-25, 15-11.

Evelyn Nwoke paced KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate's offense, picking up seven kills. Nwoke got some help from Andrea De Leon and her 11 assists. Nwoke was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate will challenge Gloucester at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeast Metro RVT, they will head out to challenge Lynn Vo-Tech at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
