Football Recap: Bishop Ludden Takes a Loss

Bishop Ludden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 33-14 fall against the Cazenovia Lakers. While losing is never fun, the Gaelic Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Lakers are ranked 106th).

Cazenovia can attribute much of their success to Robert Livingston, who threw for 201 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 56 yards and one score.

Bishop Ludden's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cazenovia, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bishop Ludden is set to challenge their familiar foe Southern Hills [Tully/LaFayette/Fabius Pompey] at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cazenovia will square off against rival Solvay at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
