It was a good run, but Randleman unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 5-0 to the Southwestern Randolph Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

Randleman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kadie Green, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Randleman's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Southwestern Randolph, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Randleman will take on rival Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Southwestern Randolph is set to challenge their familiar foe Wheatmore at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Cougars' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Warriors have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
