Softball Game Preview: Robertson County Black Devils vs. Bracken County Polar Bears

Robertson County hasn't had much luck against Bracken County recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Black Devils will take on the Polar Bears at 5:30 p.m. Robertson County will be strutting in after a win while Bracken County will be coming in after a defeat.

Robertson County will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on April 9th, then bounced right back against Augusta on April 12th. The Black Devils put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 14-4 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Black Devils as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Bracken County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Ryle, falling 12-2. That's two games in a row now that the Polar Bears have lost by exactly ten runs.

Robertson County's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Bracken County, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.

Robertson County suffered a grim 17-0 defeat to Bracken County in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Black Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
