Soccer Recap: Statesville Takes a Loss

Statesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Hickory Red Tornadoes. That's two games in a row now that Statesville have lost by exactly nine goals.

Statesville's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Hickory, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-2-1.

Statesville and Hickory will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Greyhounds see the pitch they'll take on East Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Hickory, their break will end when they face North Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
